Medovik: Ukrainian Honey Cake from Patisserie Svoi featured on Immigrant Women Chefs

Dmytro and I are excited to share that our traditional Ukrainian medovik (honey cake) has been published on the Immigrant Women Chefs platform, a space that highlights the stories and talent of immigrant women in the culinary arts.


We are honored because our desserts combine cultural heritage and modern taste. This publication is a confirmation of our work and love for the craft. And yes, I shared the recipe for our honey cake there!

Found this daimond on a recent business trip. You walk in and can smell fresh delicious pastries! We tried honey cake, pistachio cheesecake and a cortado…the service was exceptional and the desserts were absolutely perfect. Definitely worth the visit! We will make plans to come back to try the mango passion fruit tart and croissants!
